After a painful 12 months, studying solvers in the morning, grinding in the afternoon, I had nothing to show for it.

I burned through all my savings and moved back in with my parents. That felt like a huge step back after years of being independent.

One thing was clear: what I was doing wasn’t working. I had to make a drastic change, otherwise I would fail completely and end up getting a regular job.

Then one day I watched a piece of content from this coach. I was fascinated by his delivery and his different approach. He seemed to be doing things differently than most guys. After binging more of his videos, I felt like I made more progress than in the previous few months.

I also realized my study process was a mess. Most of the time I didn’t know what to study. And when I did, I had no structure or real understanding of how to actually get better. I was lost and not on the trajectory to success.

I knew I couldn’t make it on my own. I needed help.

So I reached out to him.

To my surprise, after a short exchange of messages, he offered to work with me, if I paid $5,000 upfront to cover any risks. At that point, I was desperate. I was willing to do anything.

I traveled the world and finally reached the freedom I had dreamed about when I first started playing poker.

If I had done this earlier, I could have saved months of suffering.

Then I realized something. If I, a former failing poker player, could reach high stakes and make over $1,000,000 under the right guidance, other people should be capable of it too.

So I started my YouTube channel and began offering paid hourly coaching. I quickly realized most people need more than a few hours of coaching. They need long-term collaboration. So I upgraded my approach.
